Process for the manufacture of NITA-Cotton

NITA-Cotton® fibre is made up of 70% cotton and 30% other textile fibres, with a variation of +/- 5%, obtained from pre- and post-consumer textile residues. This material is the basis for the manufacture of coats and sheets thanks to the non-punched or heat-set fabric system. RMT INSULATION treats cotton with an exclusive process certified for protection against fire and mould in accordance with European regulations. This treatment does not cause corrosion on the materials and no type of binder is used. 

Consumption for an R=7 :

• Minimum thickness 400 mm - thickness after settling 322 mm
• Consumption of 4.4 kg/m² - Ex: for 100 m², 44 bags of 10kg (440 kg) 

Packaging for a partial truck :

• 16 pallets 

• 45 bags per pallet

• 1 bag = 10kg
